Scott Simon
My philosophy: I love representing businesses for one simple reason. I love to SERVE.
To me, helping a company find the perfect location (or re-negotiate), help them think out all the important decisions, and benefit from the very best set of terms is how I can serve. It's problem-solving + human relations to the highest degree. And even after the lease is signed, I ALWAYS remain my clients' advocate and can be called on ANY TIME.
Service to others. It's what I am all about.
My specialties:
Market survey and analysis
Site selection, building tours, proposals
Financial analysis and cost projections
Space planning and test fits
Negotiate and structure final transaction
My background:
I am licensed real estate broker, and have been working in the field for more than 15 years. Previously, I spent nearly a decade in fundraising and leadership development. I earned an MA in Real Estate Development + Finance, and have participated in specialized training at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. I also have degrees/certificates in English Literature, Non-Profit Management, and Positive Psychology.
My non-work passions focus on my family and my community. I am former board chair of Shoes and Clothes for Kids, and have served in leadership capacities at Cleveland Bridge Builders, Case Western Reserve University, Mandel JDS, Jewish Federation, Bellefaire, Cleveland Hillel Foundation, to name a few. I am the co-founder of the Thrive Happiness Incubator and founder of the global Scare Your Soul courage challenge. I have two incredible children, Noah and Teilah. (And Noah already wants to be the 3rd generation here at North Pointe!)
